Taking atorvastatin and felodipine together may slightly increase the levels of atorvastatin in your blood. This could potentially increase the risk of side effects such as muscle aches or pain. Additionally, both medications can lower your blood pressure, which might make you feel dizzy or light-headed when you first start taking them together.

Both atorvastatin and felodipine are processed by the same enzyme in the liver (CYP3A4). Because they are 'competing' for the same enzyme, the body may break down atorvastatin more slowly, leading to higher levels in the bloodstream. There is also a combined effect on blood vessel relaxation.
